Recycled Asphalt Pavement

RAP (Recycled Asphalt Pavement)

This material is composed of old asphalt pavements where the life of the roadway has exhausted. The RAP is then removed from the roadway, resized (fractionated) then placed back into our process to meet current TXDOT specifications. This process reduces the demand on our countries resources by reducing the demand on virgin aggregate quarrying and petroleum refiners.

STEP 1: REMOVE EXHAUSTED PAVEMENT FROM ROADWAY AND HAUL TO PLANT

STEP 2: FRACTIONATE RAP TO ORIGNAL AGGREGATE SIZE
