CURRENT JOB OPENINGS WITHIN:

Level 1A Asphalt Laboratory Technician – Century Asphalt is currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to perform daily monitoring of asphalt production and hourly batch testing of asphalt paving mixtures in New Braunfels, Texas.

One seeking this position must be a Level 1A certified lab technician through the Texas Department of Transportation or the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities desired include, but are not limited to: advanced level computer skills on Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications; high level of adaptability; skilled at analyzing issues and problem solving; detail-oriented with high level of accuracy; skilled at relationship-building at all levels within an organization; ability to use independent judgment and decision-making in a fast-paced production environment; able to take initiative and self-direct; ability to complete regulatory training programs, first aid, CPR and AED training; must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, days or nights, weekends, on-call duty; valid TX drivers license with clean driving record; ability to travel as needed; ability to work in adverse conditions; ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, withstand extended periods of walking and standing, crawling, and bending.
